Which Finger Should I Wear My QRNT Ring On?Updated 3 days ago
You can wear your QRNT ring on any finger of either hand — but where you wear it affects the quality of your health data.
For the most accurate readings, wear your ring on your index, middle, or ring finger.
These fingers have larger blood vessels closer to the surface, which gives the PPG sensor a stronger, cleaner signal for heart rate, HRV, SpO2, and skin temperature measurements.
Which hand?
We recommend your non-dominant hand. It sees less friction, fewer impacts, and fewer scratches from daily tasks — which means better sensor contact and a longer-lasting ring.
A few things to keep in mind:
- The ring should sit comfortably snug with the sensor cluster on the palm side of your finger (the inside of your hand), not the top
- Avoid wearing it on a finger that swells significantly during workouts — this can temporarily affect fit and sensor contact
- If you switch fingers, give the app a few nights to recalibrate to your new baseline
