Why QRNT Ring Sizes Are Different From Standard Ring SizesUpdated 3 days ago
Short answer: QRNT rings run smaller than standard ring sizes because the internal sensors create a tighter fit. When in doubt, size up.
Why the difference?
A standard ring is a simple band of uniform width. The QRNT ring has raised sensor nodes on the inner edge of the band — the hardware that makes health tracking possible. These sensors reduce the effective inner diameter of the ring, which means a size 9 QRNT fits more like a size 8 standard ring.
What to account for when sizing:
- Knuckle width — your ring needs to fit over your knuckle without being too loose on your base finger once it's on
- Swelling — fingers naturally swell throughout the day, during exercise, and in hot weather. Size for your largest state, not your smallest
- Snug is correct — a ring that feels slightly snug when your hand is relaxed is likely the right size. It should never cause discomfort or restrict circulation
How to check your current ring size
If you already know your standard ring size, start by trying one size up in the QRNT Sizing Kit. Most customers find their fit 1–2 sizes above their normal jewelry size.
